Creat3D Lab
Over time, however, I began to feel the limits of working purely by hand. Some ideas were hard to reproduce consistently, while others felt impossible to achieve without a higher level of precision or new techniques. That’s when my husband, Jev, entered the story in a very unexpected way. He got bored — not with my creativity, but with seeing how many ideas I had that couldn’t fully come to life with traditional methods alone. Out of that boredom (and probably curiosity), he introduced me to 3D printing.
At first, I was skeptical. Screens, software, measurements, slicing settings, calibrations — it all felt far removed from the tactile, intuitive world I was used to. But once I understood that 3D printing was simply another creative tool, everything changed. Instead of replacing handmade work, it expanded it. Suddenly, I could design complex shapes, experiment freely, and refine my ideas again and again without fear of wasting materials.
Naturally, our roles divided. I design — focusing on form, balance, and how each piece should look and feel. Jev takes care of the technical side: the printers, the settings, the troubleshooting, and all the “boring” technical jobs (boring for me, at least). He makes sure everything works perfectly, while I stay immersed in the creative process. Together, we found a rhythm that blends creativity with technology.
That’s how Creat3D Lab came to life. What started with handmade jewellery evolved into a shared vision where design meets innovation. Today, we create home décor and practical, useful things for everyday life — objects that are both functional and thoughtfully designed. 3D printing didn’t take me away from my creative roots; it gave me a new way to grow them. And thanks to Jev’s boredom and technical patience, our ideas now live not just on paper, but all around the house and beyond.
